On ethnic war, the future of Europe and the 21^st century war of religions.

 

Firstly, it is obvious to any observer that all species compete for inherently limited resources and attempt to achieve unlimited growth. No species voluntarily and willingly goes into extinction, all species attempt to, through biology to survive as they are best able. All actions of beings, both animal and human, can be viewed from the point of survival of firstly the individual, then the group or immediate family, then the species and eventually life as a whole. When the survival of a larger group does not threathen the survival of the smaller group or the individual then the action is self evidently easy to take. When the action taken to protect the group that is under threat threathens the individual as well then the potential benefit to the self must be greater than the threat or the benefit of not acting. Thusly, if you see someone try to kill your family, the continued existence of your family guarantees a partial continuation of your biology then you will attempt to intervene, most likely at least. However, if you see someone not related to you kill someone else also not related to you, you will be far less likely to intervene. This is because the world of limited resources means that anyone who is not closely enough related to you will be viewed as a potential threat to your survival or the survival of your offspring. As long as a group of people are genetically homogenous enough they are likely to protect one another as death of one would mean the reduction of the whole group. While conversely, if a group of people separate into 2 or more specifically identifiable genetic groups then you will be far less likely to help the competing group.

 

This is the essence of the morality of competition, attempting to ensure the maximum amount of resources for yourself, your family, your ethnic group and eventually, the whole of biological life if giving to them means no reduction for you. Therefore the important characteristic of interaction within human communities is the closeness of the two groups to one another, either socially via shared traditions and manners, or religion a shared religious practice or biology a shared ancestry. Communities which have a sufficiently unified base are unlikely to go to war with one another wars are usually started when 2 radically different groups exist in the same area. They will attempt to compete for limited resources and eventually the competition spirals out of control due to the lack of a unifying culture and turns violent and a war is likely to commence. If there is a unifying social, religion or biology then these competitions will likely remain under control and remain somewhat peaceful. This can be accomplished through a powerful centralized organization that forces a central point, such as in the historical case of the Roman Empire or modern Yugoslavia. When this centralizing power starts to lose its grip then a civil war is almost inevitable.

The drive to compete with one another over imaginary boundaries, limited resources and ethnic difference is racism and it is also inherently present in all forms of life starting from the simplest forms of life. It is an inherent attribute that is necessary for the separation and evolution of life. Were there no division based on the surrounding environment then there would be no adaptability and thus no life. Life is based on the ability to adapt to once surroundings in all aspects, in tribal behavior, biologically, socially and so forth. This ability guarantees that an animal taken from the center of its present habitual comfort area to the edge will eventually adapt so that the area that once was the center of its comfort zone will now become the edge of its comfort zone and vice versa. Without this ability to adapt biologically and socially to a change in the environment life becomes brittle and without the ability to change the first radical change in the environment which will be bound to come sooner or later even if there is no humanity, will invariably destroy all life incapable of adapting.

The first law of evolution is not the survival of the fittest, or the survival of those in the best physical condition. But survival of those best able to adapt to a rapid change in the environment. Therefore life’s ability to thrive is based on the simple question, how large is the deviation within that specific form of life. The greater it is the greater the ability for the species as a whole to adapt to changes in its environment. Thusly a species such as the domesticated bovine is dependant on its very small comfort zone. Even a relatively small change it its surrounding would kill it. While on the other hand a species such as rat can thrive in vastly different biological systems and evolve very quickly to adapt to poisons. While they have the communal awareness to avoid rat poison and traps if other rats have died from them. They are obviously showing a social group behavior comparable to human cultures though not as complex in their reasoning and ability.

However, as any biologist will know it takes a mere few generations of breeding to create the attributes desired to fit the specific surroundings of a new species. And fact of the matter is that the genetic derivation between two ethnic groups, for the sake of argument say Somalis and Finns is anywhere between 50-500 generations. This level of familiarity with the surroundings will leave its mark on the culture, society and genetics of the ethnic groups as is clearly obvious. Anywhere from muscle tissue averages, brain capacity, reproduction models, genetic disorders all make it clear that both sub-species have adapted to their actual environment. A culture and a society are not independent of the people. The culture that a society has is formed by two factors for the most part, the biological ancestry of the people and the surroundings they are in. Even a cursory look at pre-history will show that migrant tribes changed their culture as they moved to a new area, such as the Polaris worship of the North American Indians slowly turning into the womb, or the galactic core worship as they moved to the Central American mountains.  This was mainly due to the realization that the sky does not revolve around the North Star. This realization shaped the people and changed the moral, religion and eventually ethnic composition as well. As the culture and surrounding changes, the preferences for mates will change as well, to correlate with the change in the environment. This change in reproduction and preferences to fit the surrounding situation is the cornerstone of evolution. The main driving force is biology, as those less able to survive in the surrounding situation die those that remain will be better suited and pass on their genes slowly making the group as a whole more suited to their surroundings.

This social and biological drive to adapt as best as possible to the surrounding situation is what eventually separates species. Humanity has not gone through this process as there has been neither the time in generations for the slow process or the radical difference in surrounding situations for a rapid change. Were the situation in the northern inhabitable areas radically different from the southern then separation to different species would have occurred already. But all forms of high mammal life require certain, very strict requirements and we, as humans, cannot survive in such extremes that primitive forms of life would shrug off.

 

Thus this form of species diversification to meet the surrounding characteristics has not yet lead to humanity to split into two or more species as we are still able to breed across sub-species lines. It is however clear that the only way that life can evolve is for the situation to force it to evolve. No evolution can happen in a static situation where no evolution is encouraged by a change in the environment. Therefore a world with no borders, no differences and everything composing of a single form of culture and organism would cease to evolve, such a world would be less filled with life as it is now.

 

Therefore I say that this project of forcefully mixing two resisting cultures, can only lead to enhancing, not lessening of conflicts. Conflicts between two forms of life are called evolution and competition, conflicts between two social, cultural or ethnic groups are called wars. Only way to mix two cultures is by having two cultures on an equal basis of respect for each other and a long history of cohabiting, crossed breeding and even in that case it often fails as has been the case throughout history. Forcing two opposed social/cultural/ethnic groups into a single area will eventually lead to a conflict if the greatest of care and balance isn’t sought. Any but the most careful project will invariably fail as even the impression of preferring one group over another will cause the disenfranchised section to resent the process and eventually seek a violent conclusion to the grievance, individually in the form of ethnic crimes or collectively in form of ethnic warfare.

 

To say that one opposes racism, or the preference for once own ethnic/group/family identity and valuing it over others such is counter evolution and, as such, counter life. It goes against the principle that life is a competition of different groups. It is an idea that comes from the creationist view that god creates life as subservient to humanity and humanity as a whole. This idea is a delusion that separates humanity from its real ancestors, the animal world. The pain of admitting that humans are no better than animals that all wrongs we commit the animals commit and all wrongs animal commit we commit as well is second to none for those with the delusion of divinity. The delusion that they are devoid of all the conditioning biological life spent billions of years programming into us. The truth of the matter is that we are little better than animals, separated by a mere few centimeters of cerebral matter giving us the ability to dissociate from ourselves and believe we are separate from that which we are. To accept that humanity is divided into many main sub-groups and various smaller sub-groups and through that there are clear ethnic groups is to accept that we are not divine, that we have clearly been here longer than copper age civilizations in the middle-east thought. To accept that there are ethnic groups is to accept that you are mortal, to accept you are mortal is, for many, the scariest thing there is. When the people who are convinced they are divine and biology has no control over them realize this on a subconscious level they start an internal struggle. This internal struggle, is a struggle between holding their sense of superiority over themselves and thus maintain their divinity or admit who they are and lose their divinity. This is then, in the long run, an internal struggle. It is a struggle to avoid meeting the fact that humanity is no better than the worms from which we evolved from.

 

This multicultural project is then, an internal destructive ideology of self denial externalized, it is an idea that seeks to invalidate the physical world and destroy the physical support of life, the very system of evolution. This is an age old struggle between life that seeks to escape into the divine, the dissociative center of our brains and psyches and the mind which seeks to control the world around through being in the moment. The same old fight or flight drive in humanity is the same drive, through a different mechanism that drives the project for multi-ethnicity. This will only end in war and destruction as the motivation for it is not constructive, the motive is not in better understanding of the world around us but escape from the realization of biological life, its control over us and the inevitability of death. Seeking to destroy oneself out of fear and lack of control over the surrounding is a biological drive. It is fear from the understanding that situation is changing, technology is bringing a technological paradigm that will force evolution for most of humanity and those who cannot master this change know it. They know they will be unable to master this new surrounding and all it entails know that they and their offspring will suffer for it. So all they can do is both help themselves and their offspring as best as possible or seek to harm others and delay or stop this evolution.

 

When you are in an ethnically, socially and culturally fairly homogenous society and you wish to advance you can do so by either helping yourself where everyone also benefits for example, an increase in your production will increase the goods you can sell for others thus they benefit as well. Or you can seek to retain your production and power at its present levels and harm others as then your relative power will increase. This mechanism is the driving force behind evolution into altruistic or selfish social models, which is determined to be the greatest benefit to everything. If you are unable to secure sufficient power for yourself for an open destruction of competing families and biological groups such as is often done in centralized power structures. Then your best option is to attempt to convince those who will actually be harmed by your actions it is in their best interest and use the power of persuasion. Thusly democracy is not two wolves and one sheep voting on what’s for dinner. It is one wolf trying to persuade ninety eight sheep that the real threat is the buck.

 

This present trend of multiculturalism, which should be called by its more appropriate term, multi-ethnicity is a project for the old economic and political powers attempting to forment conflict that the lower and middle classes will have to fight for them as the fast advancing technological revolution on par with the industrial revolution will soon render their power void. In this situation their reproductive strategy biologically is best described as destructive to others. In this the multi-ethnic project supporters are similar to the rapists. They seek to harm others for the process of ensuring their own control, domination and advancement of their own offspring. Without using this strategy they would lose their power as there would be no need for representative democracy or centralized corporate economic model which rose after the industrial revolution and will fall before the participatory democracy and small business models made possible by fast connections and specific markets caused by the advancement in communication and transport methods.

 

This doesn’t take a massive conspiracy to bring to reality, all it takes is that biology holds sway over humanity, and it does. The competing models of “helping everyone and thus helping myself” vs the “harming others thus advancing my relative power” are the two ways an individual can advance. Our elite are in a perfect position to use the latter one. Overturning this multi-ethnic war that’s brewing and solving this situation peacefully is unlikely but not impossible. It is the humane thing to do, advancing on this path ad infinitum will only lead to a war as more and more people decide the only way to advance once own needs is to harm others while they emulate the leaders. This means that eventually this ethnic conflict will spiral into an open war, which will most likely lead to ethnic cleansing and once that Pandora’s box is opened the ethnic violence will not cease for a very violent and long time.

 

All I can say is that I implore we all admit our biological nature, our biological impulses, driving the elite into corner will only force their hand and eventually they will use everything in their power to kill everyone else. Like a lion mother backed into a corner they will defend their cubs, their families if it comes to it by annihilating the rest of us. I implore that we understand that they are not evil, we are not evil, we are simply creatures largely under the control of our biology. This is a struggle for the rights of reproduction and power in a world of limited resources. Forcing a mixing of two groups will, as I previously said, lead to war and the group that wins is the one with the biggest club and the best ability to coordinate and organize ethnic warfare. This group is white Europeans. Any look at any conflict in the past thousand years will prove this, please let’s not go through it again.

Toivon että me luemme historiaa ja opimme esivanhempiemme virheistä. Myönnyttelyn politiikka ei toimi. Rasistien kanssa ei voi neuvotella, ihmisen kanssa joka kuvittelee olevansa muita parempi, vain sen takia kenestä hän on siinnyt, ei voi olla samassa pöydässä vapaan demokratian kanssa. Tällä ylimielisyyden, pahansuopuuden ja vihamielisyyden ideologialla, rasismilla, ei ole mitään asiaa läntiseen yhteiskuntaan. Suurelle osalle meistä, se sota joka määräsi missä Eurooppa seisoo, mitkä arvomme ovat, on isovanhempiemme tai vanhempiemme sota, se ei ole meidän sotamme. Tässäkin pöydässä on heitä joita tämä sota kosketti, he jotka menettivät rakkaitansa tässä sodassa. Mass Effect 2 Review

Review of Mass Effect 2

 

I started playing computer games at the ripe old age of 3. First game I remember playing was for C64 some 20 years ago. I’ve player nearly every game Bioware has ever made, I’ve also played old fashioned Pen And Paper RPG’s for a good part of my life so I’m no outsider to games. From that I have to say I’m disappointed in Mass effect 2

 

I’d give it an 85-87 score.

The story is unrealistic and most of the action is out of character when compared to how the characters acted in ME1. The dialogue is for the most part well made, but constantly feels like it was written by 14 years olds for 14 year olds. Controls are clunky, many a time I’ve leaned against a wall only to notice that for some reason Shepard decided it’s a good idea to slide up and down the wall and end up stock between floors due to the badly designed surface. Many of the dialogues involving camera movement have the camera going inside the various NPC’s by accident looking ugly and distracting. The world in general feels like a dystopia without a single ray of light where the only good guys are the ones working for shadow governments and illuminati. Because let’s face it, that’s what the illusive man represents. I for one can’t accept the fact that the same Shepard who saw his entire team killed by a thresher maw and spent many a mission hunting down Cerberus operatives and saw his superior officer murdered and fed to alien insects would gladly throw everything aside for a brand spanking new ship. It strikes me as massively out of character. Shepards willingness to abandon the systems alliance, old friends (Kaidan), the council(your status is revoked since you work for Cerberus) because he gets a shiny new ship to me seems so far outside what the Hero of the Citadel would do that its staggering. Keep in mind that the man singlehandedly defeated a galactic evil that wanted to destroy all forms of life, why would he then go into exile to work for a criminal conglomerate? The feelings of disbelief stuck with me throughout the game, each plot turn and twist more laughable than the previous from the standpoint of ME1. Finally culminating in the revelation that the collectors, the Bad Guys™ no one has ever heard of before are modified Protheans out to destroy humanity specifically with a giant dong shaped ship that wants to abduct the population of Earth. For one the plot completely rewrites well understood points from the previous game, such as the fact that when the reapers left the remaining Protheans were left behind and they starved and then died. Oh, and apparently each species sees the Asari as looking like their own species, listen to the bar conversations, the Asari are apparently mind controlling everyone to make them think they look like your species instead of something else. Old romances are completely ignored far as I can tell, you won’t get Liara to come with you since she is apparently on some kind of quest to torture and maim people because the Shadow Broker killed someone she cared about. In, what I see as a radical alteration of her character. Generally the plot feels haphazardly collected for the main purpose of driving the old cast away so they can be replaced with a more “gritty” cast. Considering that the new cast has an assassin, a serial killer, mass murderers, and otherwise “gritty” people in it. In short, the game feels like it was completely rewritten to get rid of the glimmers of hope that the original game offered, that despite things going wrong in the end with enough determination things will go right and all that stuff. The plot from the first moments to the last feels cheaply made, badly written and the reasons for splitting the cast are meant to be emotionally interesting but they are not. It diminishes from the characters. Instead of Wrex, the lovable old Battlemaster we get Grunt, a tube grown Krogan made by a mad scientist to be the perfect weapon, feel the grittiness. Instead of Liara we get an Asari “warrior monk”, an Asari that follows a strict moral code that makes her need to kill any police officer who tries to apprehend her and enjoys killing surrendered enemies by stepping on their throats, feel the grittiness. Instead of Kaidan we get a black Cerberus mercenary, feel the multiculturalism and gritty. The cast also involves a fucked up psychopath who enjoys killing people because “she had a tough childhood”, an assassin who abandoned his family to go on a quest to kill people and so forth. Most of the characters feel not just nasty, but in fact more evil than Saren from ME1. Most of the characters profess their desire to simply kill things with no real reason as to why, got in my way is the favorite reason. This group of murderers working for a secret society that wants to ensure human supremacy over all other sapient forms of life is, compared to the epic storyline of ME1, pathetic. Granted the official story is the destruction of the collectors  but the between the lines story is that no one but the murderers and psychopaths do the right thing and everyone else is just soft.

 

The combat system where you open doors, crouch and run from the same key is a strange choice, many a time I’ve tried to run away from an enemy only to find that the game decided I wanted to crouch behind a box on the enemy side of fire. I’ve also many a fond memory for trying to move away from cover, also by using the same key only to see the game decide that I wanted to vault over the box even if I was facing away from it. These control issues will probably get the player killed quite a few times. Combat maps are still linear with very little room for decisions on how to approach issues. You have a pipe with enemies, you go down pipe with enemies, you have 2 branches, one goes head first other goes to the flank, you take one, you kill enemies, rinse and repeat. The decision to replace the heat with ammo rewrites the combat entirely. There are also no armor, weapon or ammo upgrades. Okay, granted there is the “buy this upgrade” but no real customization, no choice of “I’ll fit my pistol to kill geth and my rifle to kill humans” or “I’ll have a very high power sniper rifle and mount it with the strongest ammo since it will overheat with a single shot anyway” and so on. Instead of a large array of potential skills and paragon-renegade persuasion skills you have 5-6 different skills, all combat related. The resource gathering side game is mostly boring hot-cold game which adds nothing to the game other than pointless hours spent listening to beep beep sounds followed by throwing a dart. The choice to have the ship on the travel screen is also purely aesthetic with no real game purpose. Since the system or galaxy map never has any other ships flying around its mostly just for “oo, look at the ship” for the first 2 minutes after that it’s just flying around slowly instead of abstraction by clicking. The side games of lock picking and hacking are repetitive and offer little to no variance. There are also fairly common nag windows and hand holding for players which I find unnecessary and degrading. Holding down right mouse button and scanning the planet after a few seconds without launching a probe the window will pop up and blink “click left mouse button to launch probes” even if you had just spent the last 3 hours mining and know damn well the left mouse button launches probes. These nag windows are common in most places in the game, including in the overly large info window on the right side of the screen which blocks a part of the screen to tell you, slowly, blinkingly and in row that you just gained a codex entry, or credits or journal entry. Longest I’ve seen this flashing info box take up a quarter of my screen was 45 seconds.

 

In closing, the game feels dumbed down, ret conned to fit the counter-strike players and the people who think ethics, moral, epic storylines and complex weapon, armor, or game play that requires planning and tactical planning is for l0sers.

 

On the good side the scenery, graphics, some animation and surfaces are marvelous. Kudos for the graphics designers.

Pyyntö paremman hallinnon puolesta Suomessa

1.       Saattakaa voimaan demokraattiset periaatteet. Kansanvalta, sitovat kansanäänestykset, puoluejärjestelmän täydellinen uudistaminen, nykyisen puoluejohtajien harvainvallan on jäätävä menneisyyden hämärään samoin kuten Neuvostoliiton ihannointi.  

2.       Kansalaisten on saatava äänestää perustuslain sekä hallintojärjestelmän muutoksista. Lissabonin sopimus tekee suomesta Euroopan Yhdysvaltain osavaltion ja itsenäinen suomi lakkaa olemasta.

3.       Vapaa keskustelu on sallittava kaikista aiheista, uskonnoista ja mielipiteistä. Ihmisten on saatava puhua yhteiskunnassa tapahtuvista asioista. Mielipiteen julistaminen rikolliseksi siksi että mielipiteen ilmaisusta voi joku suuttua ei todellakaan kuulu demokratiaan. Kyvyttömyys ottaa vastaan kritiikkiä ja eriävän mielipiteen hiljentämisen kulttuuri ei kuulu kaksituhatta luvulle.

4.       Ihmisen keho kuuluu vain ihmiselle itselleen, ei valtiolle eikä muille ihmisille. Siten valtiovallalla ei ole oikeutta sanoa mitä aikuinen ihminen kehollaan tekee tai on tekemättä. Valtiolla ei ole oikeutta määrätä mitä terveydenhuoltoa yksityinen älyltään terve ihminen käyttää tai on käyttämättä, valtiolla ei myöskään ole oikeutta kieltää uskontoon, uskomukseen, filosofiaan perustuvaa hoitoa. Vastaavasti valtiolla ei myöskään ole oikeutta kieltää älyltään tervettä aikuista ihmistä käyttämättä mitä tahansa nautintoaineita itse haluaa.

5.       Jos valtiovallan edustajat eivät ole tietoisia hallinnoimansa alan tai johtamansa järjestön väärästä toiminnasta ei kyseiset valtiovallan edustajat ole tehtäviensä tasalla ja heidät on syytä korvata tehtävänsä paremmin osaavilla edustajilla.

6.       Suomen kansalaisella joka joutuu suomen lakien tuomitsemaksi, on oltava oikeus sanoa mielipiteensä ja äänestää kyseisten lakien sisällöstä. Henkilöä ei voida pitää rikosoikeudellisesti kyvykkäänä olemaan vastuussa omista teoistaan ja samanaikaisesti väittää henkilön olevan kuitenkin kyvytön äänestämään.

7.       Ihmisellä on oikeus valita uskonto ja uskonnollinen seurakuntansa vapaasti sekä saada omalle uskonnolleen saman hyväksynnän ja arvostuksen kuin mille tahansa muulle uskonnolle. Kaksiosainen valtion kirkko on epäoikeuden mukainen suomen lukuisia uskonnollisia vähemmistöjä kohtaan. Kaikilla uskonnoilla sekä aatteilla tulee olla samat mahdollisuudet. Suomen on syytä siirtyä uskonvapaudessa kaksituhatta luvulle pois kristinuskon pimeästä keski-ajasta

8.       Sosiaaliturvaverkosto on uudistettava kokonaisuudessaan. Eläkepommia ei ole olemassa vaan suomessa on tälläkin hetkellä satoja tuhansia sosiaaliturvan varassa olevia ihmisiä jotka eivät yksinkertaisesti voi saada töitä. Koulutusta on kehitettävä, samoin työn tekeminen on oltava aina kannattavaa ilman riskiä jäädä toimeentulotuki loukkuun. Tällä hetkellä toimeentulotuki ei toimi rakenteellisten raskauksiensa takia vaan on syytä siirtyä kansalaispalkkaan joka takaa työn olevan aina kannattavaa eikä nykyistä kuoppaa voi syntyä.

9.       On oltava mahdollista tuomita todelliseen elinkautiseen vakavista rikoksista tuomitut henkilöt ilman että elinkautinen on matemaattisesti 15 vuotta. Murhattu ei nouse kuolleista 15sta vuodessa eikä murhaajan ole syytä vapautua vankilasta samassa ajassa.

10.   Talouskasvun pitäminen itseisarvona ilman vaikutusta ihmisten elämään on pähkähullua. Valtion otettava ihmisläheisemmät arvot ja palattava humaaniin demokratiaan joka arvostaa ihmisten hyvinvointia ja terveyttä yli lyhytaikaisen talouden kasvun.

11.   Vanhusten huollon tilanne on rikos ihmisyyttä vastaan. Tilanne on korjattava pikimmiten, hoitajien koulutukseen ja palkkaukseen, sekä hoito menetelmien muuttamiseen inhimillisemmäksi sekä vanhusten aktivoimiseen ja elämän loppuvuosien tekeminen elämisen arvoiseksi on oltava korjauksen pääpainona. Tähän vaadittavat rahat on tarvittaessa saatava laittamalla kaikkiin yritysten tekemiin päästökauppoihin 22 % ALV sekä laittamalla kaikille valtion virkamiehille palkkakatto joka on kahdenkertainen verrattuna mediaaniseen keskipalkkaan 25.1 euroa tunnissa. Näin valtion virkamiehen palkkakatto olisi 3765 euroa kuukaudessa sekä edustustili jonka katoksi on syytä asettaa yhden aterian sekä kahden korkeintaan 10 kilometrin matka jokaista päivää kohden. Veronmaksajilla ei ole velvoitetta tukea valtionyritysten ja virkamiesten palkkarallia.

Nälkis ja elämä syksyllä

Nyt tarvitsen kolmea asiaa. Aikaa, Aikaa ja Lisää Aikaa.

Nälkälakon ja totaalisen elämän uudistamisen takia tarvitsen nyt runsaasti aikaa. Koska mikään projekti ei ole vielä siinä vaiheessa että niitä ei voisi hidastaa tai laittaa jäihin suuren elämänmuutoksen takia olen nyt hetken jäässää. Tässä voi mennä mitä tahansa muutamasta kuukaudesta muutamaan vuoteen. Puolue, Kirja ja henkiset asiat palaavat kyllä ohjelmaan siitä voidaan olla varmoja. Tämänkaltaista kokemusta en voi käydä läpi ilman että hetkeksi pysähdyn ja mietin elämääni. Koko kesän olen vilkuillut puoluelistaa, blogia, tekstejä ja yrittänyt aloittaa, sanat vain katoavat enkä saa mitään paperille. Ajan kanssa kyllä asiat vielä etenevät mutta nyt on pakko pitää taukoa. Tapaus Aki Greus

Sivari voi saada syytteen siviilipalvelusrikoksesta koska tahansa, jos sukset menevät ristiin palveluspaikan kanssa. Aki Greus joutui vankilaan riitautettuaan työnantajan väärinkäytöksen. Nyt Greus, totaalikieltäytyjä vastoin tahtoaan, vaatii oikeutta nälkälakolla.

Joka vuosi noin 2 500 miestä aloittaa siviilipalveluksen. Noin 40–80 miestä tuomitaan vuosittain vankilaan totaalikieltäytyjinä. Heistä huomattava osa on kuitenkin aloittanut ensin siviilipalveluksen ja päätynyt sitten joko periaatteellisista syistä ja omasta aloitteestaan tai palveluspaikan nostaman siviilipalvelusrikossyytteen myötä vankilaan. 

Syytteen siviilipalvelusrikoksesta voi saada käytännössä koska tahansa, jos sivarin ja työpalveluspaikan sukset menevät ristiin.

Aki Greus halusi vain käydä siviilipalveluksensa loppuun ja palata arkielämän pariin. Kummallisten käänteiden kautta oikeusjärjestelmä on tehnyt hänestä totaalikieltäytyjän, joka viruu vasten tahtoaan Suomenlinnan avovankilassa, niskassaan 111 vuorokauden vankeusrangaistus. Nyt Greus hakee oikeutta viimeisenä keinonaan nälkälakko.

Greus kävi siviilipalvelustaan Lapinjärven siviilipalvelusmiesten koulutuskeskuksella.

"Sivarikeskuksen johtaja Eero Soinio oli päässyt kesken palvelustani Nummi-Pusulan kunnanjohtajaksi. Minulle tähän päivään asti tuntemattomasta syystä Soinio halusi ennen siirtoaan muualle tehdä mahdollisimman monelle sivarille mahdollisimman paljon vahinkoa", Greus kertoo.

Muutamaa päivää ennen lähtöään Soinio määräsi ryhmälle sivareita lykkäystä palveluksesta vastoin heidän omaa tahtoaan. Toisin kuin suurin osa muista sivareista, Greus ei suostunut ilman syytä määrättyyn lykkäykseen.

Pyytäessään lain mukaista kirjallista syytä lykkäykselle sekä kopiota keskuksella olevista mahdollisesti itseään koskevista asiakirjoista, Greus sai tylyn vastauksen.

"Pyysin papereita täysin asiallisesti. Eero Soinio käski minun vain painua kotiini kasvamaan", Greus kertoo.

Greusille kerrottiin lykkäyksen viralliseksi syyksi lääkärinlausunto.

Päästyään kotiinsa Greus otti yhteyttä asianajajaansa, jonka painostuksen jälkeen sivarikeskus suostui antamaan paperit.

Asiakirjoista ilmeni, että tarvittava lääkärinlausunto puuttui. Sen virkaa toimitti sihteerin allekirjoittama diagnoosipaperi, jossa sekä diagnoosinumero ja lykkäysluokka oli väärin täytetty. Paperista puuttui lääkärin nimi ja leima.

Siviilipalveluskeskuksen johtajalla ei ole laillista oikeutta määrätä vastoin sivarin tahtoa lykkäystä kuin kurinpidollisista tai terveydellisistä syistä. Greusilla oli virheetön palvelusrekisteri, ei kurinpidollisia rangaistuksia ja kaiken lisäksi hyvästä palveluksesta myönnettyjä kuntoisuuslomia, eikä hän olisi halunnut lykkäystä. Lisäksi Greus tapasi ennen kotiin lähtöään lääkärin, joka ei puoltanut lykkäyspäätöstä.

Vaikka jostain oltaisiinkin saatu lääkäri, joka kykenee tekemään palveluskelvottomuusdiagnoosin näkemättä tai kuulematta potilastaan, ei sekään riittäisi täyttämään palveluskelpoisuusarviointia lain vaatimalla tavalla.

"Oli selvää, että lykkäykseni ei ollut laillinen, ei tullut koskaan laillisesti voimaan ja tehtiin lisäksi räikeällä virkamiesrikoksella. Vein asian Helsingin hallinto-oikeuteen. Sieltä tuli päätös, että lykkäykseni oli tehty väärin perustein, ja että asia pitää palauttaa sivarikeskukselle uudelleen käsiteltäväksi", Greus sanoo.

Hallinto-oikeuden päätöksen jälkeen Greus ei kuullut sivarikeskukselta pihaustakaan moneen kuukauteen. Vasta Greusin lakimiehen otettua jälleen yhteyttä sivarikeskukseen päätettiin Greus ottaa nopeasti takaisin työpalvelukseen.

Päästyään takaisin sivarikeskukselle jatkamaan työpalvelustaan, Greus kertoo henkilökunnan suhtautuneen häneen erittäin ikävästi.

"Ensimmäiseksi minut määrättiin käyttämään palvelukseen kuuluvia vähäisiä henkilökohtaisia lomapäiviäni sivarikeskuksen ulkopuolisen työpalveluspaikan hakemiseen. Se ei ole lomapäivien käyttötarkoitus. Sen jälkeen minua kieltäydyttiin määräämään työpalvelukseen sivarikeskuksella. Lopulta minut laitettiin siivoojan ominaisuudessa käsittelemään terveydelle haitallisia kemikaaleja ilman asiallista suojavarustusta ja vailla kantahenkilökunnan valvontaa", Greus sanoo.

Koska Eero Soinion aikoinaan antama käsky painua kotiin kasvamaan ei täyttänyt virallisesti lykkäyksen määritelmää, katsoi Greus siviilipalveluspäiviensä karttuneen joka päivä, jonka hän vietti kotonaan odottaen pääsyä takaisin sivarikeskukselle. Alkuperäisen työpalveluksen viimeisen päivän lähestyessä Greus kertoi näkemyksensä sivarikeskuksen henkilökunnalle, joka puolestaan katsoi vapautuspäivän siirtyneen huomattavasti kauemmaksi.

"Annoin kirjallisen vaatimuksen alkuperäisen vapautuspäiväni kunnioittamisesta ja siviilipalveluskeskuksen laittoman toiminnan korvaamisesta, josta keskus kieltäytyi. Tämän jälkeen kieltäydyin palveluksesta", Greus kertoo.

Kieltäytymisen jälkeen asiaa käsiteltiin Loviisan käräjäoikeudessa ja Helsingin hovioikeudessa. Hovioikeuden antama päätös on Greusin mielestä tyyppiesimerkki siitä, miten siviilipalvelusmiehet joutuvat kohtaamaan organisoitunutta vähättelyä ja syrjintää.

"Hovioikeus myöntää päätöksessään, että en halunnut lykkäystä, että lykkäys sotki elämääni, ja että lykkäys annettiin väärin perustein. Samaan aikaan hovioikeus kuitenkin toteaa, ettei näe mitään syytä, miksi en voisi palata suorittamaan palvelustani siviilipalveluskeskukselle loppuun saakka. En myöskään saanut valituslupaa korkeimpaan oikeuteen", Greus kertoo.

"Istuin pitkään rauhassa miettimässä mitä nyt tekisin. Oikeusturvani on tuhottu, minua on kohdeltu surkeasti ja jouduin vankilaan. Jos hyväksyn vankeusrangaistuksen, hyväksyn samalla, että olen rikollinen. Olisin voinut lähteä maasta, mutta en halunnut tehdä sitä, koska koko elämäni on täällä", Greus sanoo.

Mietintöjensä päätteeksi Greus ei halunnut jättää perhettään, kihlattuaan ja ystäviään.

"Haluatteko muuten saada siihen juttuun kuvani täältä vankilasta? Kannattaa tulla aika äkkiä, koska parin päivän päästä olen jo varmaankin letkuissa", Greus huomauttaa puhelinhaastattelun väliin.

"En halua tehdä itsemurhaa, enkä olla marttyyri. Haluaisin elää onnellista elämää. Mutta en voi enää paeta enkä jatkaa taistelua oikeusasteissa. Yhteiskunta on tehnyt virheen laittaessaan minut vankilaan, ja se virhe pitäisi myöntää antamalla minulle armahdus. Ilman armahdusta minulle ei jää enää muuta vaihtoehtoa protestoida kuin nälkälakko", Greus päättää.

Kaiken jälkeen jäljelle on jäämässä vain väärennetty lääkärinlausunto, hovioikeuden vähättelevä lausunto, Aki Greus nälkälakossa ja Eero Soinio Nummi-Pusulan kunnanjohtajana.

The Case of Aki Greus

A conscientious objector can be charged with a service felony practically at
any time if crossing thoughts with the non-military service institution. Aki
Greus was sentenced to prison after having disputed the malpractice of his
employer. Currently Greus, a total objector against his will, demands
justice with a hunger strike.

Every year about 2 500 men start their non-military service. Approximately
40-80 men are annually sentenced to prison as total objectors. However, a
significant number of them have first started out as a regular conscientious
objectors fulfilling their non-military service and due to reasons of
principle and from their own initiative, or having been charged with a
service felony by the non-military institution, have ended up being senteced
to prison.

A conscientious objector can basically be charged with a service felony at
any time if a disagreement arises between him and the institution.

Aki Greus only wanted to complete his non-military service and get back to
his everyday life. After a strange turn of events, the legal system turned
him into a total objector who now languishes in the prison of Suomenlinna,
serving a sentence of 111 days against his own will. Now Greus demands
justice with a hunger strike as his last resort.

Greus was carrying out his service in the non-military service institution
of Lapinjärvi.

"Eero Soinio, the director of the non-military service institution of
Lapinjärvi, became the municipal manager of Nummi-Pusula during the time of
my service. For reasons unknown, Soinio wanted to do as much damage as
possible to as many conscientious objectors as he could before the
transfer", Greus tells.

A few days before the transfer, Soinio postponed the service of a group of
conscientious objectors agaisnt their own will. Unlike the majority, Greus
did not agree with this reckless decision and demanded to hear a reason for
this.

When asking for a juridical, literal document regarding the reason for the
deferment and copies from possible documents at the institution concerning
him, Greus was given a very dull answer.

"I asked for the papers appropriately. Eero Soinio just told me to go back
home and grow up", Greus says.

Greus was told that the official reason for the deferment was a doctor's
statement.

After having arrived at home, Greus contacted his lawyer. Being pressured by
the lawyer, the institution agreed to hand over the demanded documents.

The documents clearly indicated that said doctor's statement was missing.
Instead of it, there was an incorrectly filled diagnosis document signed by
a secretary. Doctor's name and stamp were missing.

The director of the non-military service institution does not have the legal
rights to postpone the service against one's own will. Only disciplinary and
health related reasons would suffice in order to do so. Greus's service
record was flawless, not a single disciplinary violation and what's more, he
had been admitted recreational holidays due to good service. He never wanted
to postpone his service. Furthermore, before going back home Greus met a
doctor who didn't side with the conclusion concerning the deferment.

Even if they managed to find a doctor able to do a service incompetence
diagnosis without seeing or hearing the patient, it still would not be
enough to fulfill the evaluation of competence in a legal way.

“It was clear that my deferment was illegal, it never legally came into
effect and in addition was done with a blatant officer crime. I took my
concerns to the Helsinki Admininstrative Court. From there I received a
verdict stating that my deferment had been put into effect with incorrect
premises, and that the matter must be returned to the non-military service
institution of Lapinjärvi and be reprocessed”, Greus says.

After the Administrative Court's verdict, Greus did not hear a thing from
the institution for several months. Only after Greus's lawyer once again
contacted them, Greus was quickly taken back to service.

After having returned to the non-military service institution of Lapinjärvi,
Greus tells that the staff reacted to him in a very unpleasant way.

“At first I was ordered to use my few personal days off to search for a
place to work outside the institution. It is not what the holidays are for.
After that they refused to put me to work at the institution. Finally I was
ordered, as a cleaner, to handle hazardous chemicals without suitable
protective equipment and without the staff's supervision,” Greus says.

Because Eero Soinio's once given order to “go home and grow up” did not
officially fill the definition of a deferment, Greus regarded his
non-military service days as being accumulating every day he spent at home
waiting to get back to the institution. As the original contract neared its
last day Greus explained his views to the staff of the institution, who in
turn saw the day of release as having been greatly postponed.

“I handed in a written demand to respect my original day of release and
compensate for the illegal actions of the institution, which they declined.
After this I refused service”, Greus tells.

Following the total objection, matters were processed at the Loviisa Town
Court and Helsinki Court of Appeal. The verdict given by the Court of Appeal
is, in Greus's opinion, a typical example of how conscientous objectors must
face organised downplaying and discrimination.

“The Court of Appeal admits in the verdict that I did not wish for
deferment, that the deferment aggravated my personal life and that it was
granted with incorrect premises. Concurrently the Court of Appeal however
stated that they see no reason why I could not return to the non-military
service institution of Lapinjärvi and finish my service. I was not given the
right to appeal to Supreme Court.” Greus says.

“I sat for long, pondering what to do at this point. My legal protection has
been destroyed, I have been treated miserably and I must go to jail. If I
accept my prison sentence, I accept that I am a criminal. I could have left
the country, but I did not want to do it because my whole life is here.”
Greus says.

After contemplating his situation, Greus did not want to leave his family,
fiancé and friends.

“By the way, do you want a picture of me here in prison for your article? I
suggest you come quickly because in a couple of days I will probably be
lying in bed, connected to tubes”, Greus states in the middle of the
telephone interview.

“I do not want to commit a suicide or be a martyr. I would like to lead a
happy life. But I can no longer escape or continue struggling in different
court instances. Society has made a mistake putting me in prison and that

mistake should be admitted by pardoning me. Without a pardon I am left with

no other way to protest than a hunger strike”, Greus concludes.

What's left at the end of it all: a forged doctor's statement, belittling
verdict by the Court of Appeal, hunger striker Aki Greus and Eero Soinio as
the municipal manager of Nummi-Pusula.
